US SMT Assembly Operations & Sales Leader needed - Bay Area
DCSI is a global executive search firm that services the high electronics technology sector and we're currently sourcing for a US Operations & Sales Leader in the Bay Area of California. This is an exceptional long-term opportunity to help supercharge the US presence of this global electronics manufacturing services provider. In this role we're looking for someone that has a background in SMT assembly, engineering, manufacturing and also sales leadership experience. This will be a highly strategic position and will be responsible for setting the course for change within this company in regards to pushing deeper into existing business sectors or new sectors such as life sciences and medical/diagnostics.
You'll have full P&L responsibility for more than $100m in annual sales and a charter to grow the US gross revenue to between $700m - $1 billion in annual sales. You'll be fully responsible for manufacturing, engineering, quality and also sales in this role and will report into the C-Suite. We're ideally looking for someone that has 15+ years experience and have worked their way up from engineering to manufacturing & operational leadership and have P&L responsibility for more than $100m annually. We also are requiring solid experience working within the EMS/PCBA industry in the US as well as Asia as this position will have APAC reporting structure. REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree, prefer MS or an MBA
15 + years of experience in Operations and Sales/Operations leadership
P&L experience of greater than $100m and up to $1 billion potentially.
Exceptional background in SMT assembly, engineering, manufacturing, quality and sales.
Current or prior experience partnering with a global EMS firm with strong APAC divisions, knowledge of EMS Asian cultural business norms.
Currently living/working, or the ability to live/work in the Bay Area of California. This is an onsite role and must reside in the Bay Area.
Base salary ranges from $250-350K and generous bonus potential, paid relocation, long term full-time benefits package.
